FAQs

What days do you quote?

We quote Monday to Friday, and also offer early morning appointments. Please contact us for a quotation, and we will be able to organise a time suitable for you.

How long does a quotation take, and if I accept, how quickly can you proceed with an installation?

We allow an hour for a ducted quotation and just under an hour for a split system quotation, but this can sometimes be longer if it is a detailed or large job. Depending on the time of the year will depend on when we can install your new unit for you. Our sales consultant will be able to tell you on site what the lead time is for installation on the day of your quote.

Can you quote me off a set of plans?

Yes, as long as we the plans contain room dimensions. Depending on how detailed the plans are, we may need a site inspection to confirm.

Do you do installation only?

No, unfortunately we do not do installation only. We prefer to supply you with the unit; this way we know that you have been supplied with a quality unit, which comes with all the relevant warranties.

How long will it take for the install?

Split systems usually take about half a day. Ducted systems take all day. One of our sales team will be able to give you an idea when he is there to quote you.

I am building/ renovating. When do you need to put the unit in?

We usually work with the builder to install the fan coil unit, pipes, wires and any duct work before the gyprock is put up. Once the house has been gyprocked and painted, we will come and cut and fit the grilles. Once you have moved in, or the builder is ready for us to fit the outside unit (the condenser) then we will commission the unit and explain how it works.

Do you prefer to liaise with the builder or me the customer?

It is often easier for us to deal directly with your builder. However, we are also happy to deal with you directly.

What time do the installers arrive on site?

7am for installs for splits and ducted systems. Splits are also installed after lunch.

What time will the installers finish?

Installers will finish late in the afternoon.

Do we need to be home for the installation?

We need you to meet with the installers when they arrive so they can confirm location of grilles etc with you. This will only be for an hour. Just show the installers how to lock up for you if you cannot make it back. If you could come back at the end that would be appreciated so we don´t have to arrange another time to explain the unit to you.

How do I make my final payment?

The installers will give you the final invoice. You can pay them by cheque or cash. Alternatively if you would prefer, you can pay directly into our bank accounts. All details are on the invoice.

Do we work within the time restrictions of strata and council if needed?

Yes we do. We are happy to accommodate these requirements.

Can I have a specific day for the installation?

We will try to accommodate you as best we can, provided we have notice and some flexibility.
